Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dynamic mobile healthcare team. At least one year of experience preferred, but not a must. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of physical rehabilitation, having experience in various settings, including outpatient, inpatient care, geriatrics, acute care, and home health community care in an autonomous practice. This role involves developing and implementing effective care plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient, ensuring optimal recovery and rehabilitation.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations.

  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient goals.

  • Implement therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance and overall physical function.

  • Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation techniques, and home exercise programs.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams within the clinic and hospital settings to provide holistic patient care.

  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Requirements

  • Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

  • Valid state of Florida licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist.

  • Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy as it relates to physical therapy practices.

  • Experience in inpatient settings, geriatrics, acute care, or home community care is preferred.

  • Ability to develop effective care plans tailored to individual patient needs.

  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

  • Proficient in using electronic health record systems for documentation purposes.

You choose what areas you want to cover, eg Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero, Ft Myers, Cape Coral, etc... you want to cover.

Duties
